What We Do
Frontedge Capital has been created to service the Singapore start-up community. We are focused on the Interactive Digital Media space, in particular mobile and web 2.0 applications. We invest in and mentor companies, helping them kick-start their business by providing the infrastructure for these startups to succeed. This include business and technical advice, access to capital, connections to networks in Singapore, as well as access to resources globally.
Frontedge works hand in hand with our portfolio companies throughout the early stages of each company’s lifecycle. We do a thorough review of the product focusing on value proposition, revenue model, and scalability. We help our portfolio companies refine their marketing strategies, and continue tweaking all of the above aspects through product launch. We also introduce our companies to investors and provide coaching and preparation in seeking additional funding. Investment Philosophy
We believe that the most important asset a startup technology company has is its entrepreneurs. Thats why the team is the most important factor in determining who we decide to invest in and work with.
As part of the investment process, we look for certain characteristics in the teams that we fund. We prefer teams of two to four people who work great together and feed off each others' ideas and energy. We love brilliant technologists and designers who can create innovative and user friendly products.
